The Force Awakens
I hear a lot of negativity about Star Wars on the internet. Whether it’s the prequels, or Jar Jar hate, or J.J. hate, or hate for this or hate for that, for something that so many people love, they apparently hate an awful lot of it too. I don’t like being around people who sit around complaining about these movies. I’d much rather surround myself with 8 year olds who enjoy all the movies and have gotten super excited for the new one instead of listening to you bitch about The Phantom Menace for the thousandth time. The more grown up some people get, the more critical they get, the less they remember that sometimes even silly movies or stupid movies can still take you to another place. Isn’t that what Star Wars is all about anyways? Fantasy. Taking you places you’ve never seen before. Whether it’s Hoth, or an underwater city on Naboo, I’m down. I’m 8 years old again and ready to go back to a galaxy far far away…

This kinda started out as me having a giggle on a forum, but the idea wouldn’t go away and it ended up becoming a legitimate fic that I’m writing.
